These terms define the coverage, limits, and rules for Calzarelli’s Shipping and Customs Duty Insurance. By opting for these insurance services, you confirm that you understand and accept these conditions.
2. Shipping Insurance
Calzarelli Shipping Insurance protects your order against loss or damage while in transit.
Coverage Details:
- Full refund or replacement for lost or damaged items.
- Applies only to shipments confirmed as lost or damaged by the carrier.
- Does not cover delivery delays, minor package dents, or packaging damage that does not affect the product itself.
How to Claim:
- Submit claims within 90 days of the expected delivery date.
- Provide valid evidence such as photos, unboxing videos, or non-delivery confirmation.
- Approved claims will be settled via refund or replacement at Calzarelli’s discretion.
3. Customs Duty Insurance
This insurance covers additional import duties or taxes levied by customs authorities.
Coverage Details:
- Reimbursement for eligible customs charges.
- Only applies if the recipient is required to pay at delivery.
- Excludes fines, penalties, or extra storage costs caused by customs delays.
How to Claim:
- File claims within 90 days of payment.
- Provide official proof of charges (invoice or receipt).
- Approved claims will be refunded through store credit or direct reimbursement.
4. Exclusions
The following situations are not covered:
- Wrong shipping address provided by the customer.
- Packages unclaimed or refused.
- Orders seized for containing prohibited or restricted items.
- Delays caused by customs procedures or force majeure events.
